Many times you need assistance of someone who is not with you over some computer related problem, and you try to explain it over phone or some other medium, but you can do it in a better way.Microsoft windows provides a handy tool known as Problem steps recorder, which will record your activity on your computer, and you can send it to anyone for solving your problem.
note: you do not need to download anything, this tool is present in windows 7 and above versions.
Use Problem Steps Recorder:
This handy tool automatically records any mouse clicks and takes screenshots
for you. If you need tech assistance with your computer,
- go to Run by typing Windows + R,
- and then type "psr."
- psr window will open
- now start recording, it will take snapshots whenever you click, and properly compile it with addtional information so that the user will understand the problem.
Use the tool and by the time you
are finished, you can send this information, neatly compiled automatically, to
the person helping you with the issue. It will make the process of finding the
problem much easier for them, which means you will be able to get your system
up and running faster
